⭐ Hidden Gem in the Industrial Zone This place is a local secret worth discovering. Authentic Chinese dishes on Mon–Tue (the pork chop on rice is a must), and exceptional Japanese fare Wed–Fri—especially the chirashi, which is hands-down the best I’ve had in Melbourne. Been coming for months, and it’s consistently excellent.

Top Seed is always a favourite of ours for their seriously good coffee and matcha, both are consistently top-tier. That’s usually what we go for, but today we noticed they were open over the weekend and decided to try one of their croissants. It was absolutely delicious, buttery, flaky, full of flavour and so beautifully presented! The service is always lovely too, friendly and welcoming, which just adds to the whole experience. We’re already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu!

I've been coming here regularly since they've opened and highly recommend everything here! There is authentic, absolutely delicious Japanese or Taiwanese food depending on the day, as well as enjoyable coffee and high quality matcha latte. And the service is super friendly!

Highly recommended! Choose from “ready to go” cafe style food or varied Asian menu depending on the day of the week. Fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Had a great coffee too! Can’t wait to go back and try something different.

The coffee was rich and delicious, and the sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh—definitely the best I’ve had in Melbourne. Cozy atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommended!

A great hidden cafe! We went for brunch and had some delicious Japanese food (that was cooked by Japanese chefs) and lovely hospitality by the owner. They have a varied menu that changes on certain days, but on this occasion it was the Japanese menu which ranged from entrees, donburi, udon, bentos and fresh sushi!. (Wednesday- Friday). The mixed and veg , tempura bento , chicken katsu curry and beef curry were all delicious!! We also enjoyed some great coffees and took home some yummy wraps and cookies . Some of my family members also tried their breakfast on the weekend which didn’t disappoint!

Top seed on Mondays and Tuesdays have a Northern Chinese lunch menu. I ordered the Wagyu beef soup noodle as in the picture. The waghu beef just melts in my mouth ! . Highly recommend!
